ABOUT
Mike is a full-time creative specialist based in Boston who primarily works with brands that are building a healthier world. After spending years struggling through CFS, he's found meaning in translating complex ideas into snackable stories that can help promote wellbeing in the world. Ranging from biotech to fitness, his digital first approach has helped generate tens of millions of impressions across social and digital channels for brands such as WHOOP, Ginkgo Bioworks, Collaborative Robotics, Fanatics, Saucony, Bauer, and The NBA.
It’s common for him to work alongside C-Suite executives, professional athletes, influencers, and decision-makers to help them properly create and execute their content plans. He's often brought in to be the "first-ever" creative hire, and loves to help build out new roles.
In 2023, he was selected as 1 of Boston's 12 artists to participate in MassArt's Creative Business Incubator, a program designed to help students and aspiring artists develop their creative business expertise. Prior to launching StudioLanzy, he was a part of the Emmy-award winning team at NBC Sports as a Digital Production Assistant during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and worked as a Video Streaming Coordinator for the 10x Emmy nominated 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Additionally, he worked as a video producer for Penn State Athletics, where he helped to build the hockey team’s internal creative department from scratch.
His work has been featured on NBC, WIRED, and ESPN among others. In addition to his creative work, Mike also has a formal education in Advertising and Analytics from Penn State. He loves numbers, and was once dubbed "the creative that can count" by a professor in Boston. He is familiar with data modeling and analytic techniques, which helps him measure the impact of his work for brands.
In addition to production work, he’s always available for strategy, consulting, or marketing work, and is able to scale his team up or down to fit the needs of any given project.
